Getting around Switzerland is easy, with an unrivalled network of trains, buses and boats cutting journey times between three regions to an hour or two in most cases.

Swiss public transport is of high quality, on a network of over 20’000 km of routes. This applies to both the public service vehicles and the punctuality of the time table. Most of the places can be reached through a network of trains, busses, ships and cable-cars. This network is also referred to as the 'Swiss Travel System', which can be used if you posses a Swiss rail pass - unrestricted travel on the entire network - provided in most of our itineraries for individuals. Major cities are connected by InterCity trains which usually run once per hour. Busy connections often provide at least two trains per hour.

Busses play an important role as well. Bus services are often provided by the Swiss post services. The name 'postcar' originates from a long time ago. Nowadays, these busses are mainly carrying passengers, although small villages still have their post delivered by postcars.

We provide our individual travellers with all the timetables and transportation details related to our itineraries. For travellers in group, we collaborate with the best regional coach companies, to ensure the most comfortable trip, whether for a journey from Zürich to Geneva or for a short transfer from Geneva to Lausanne.
